Hulon Jones, 87, died January 21, 2011 at Savannah Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He was born in Swainsboro, son of the late Freddie and Callie Jones. He moved to Savannah in 1944 and was retired from the City of Savannah after 29 years of service.
Mr. Jones was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church Sycamore Church.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Betty Jo Jones; daughter, Lori Braswell, grandchildren, Jessica Jones and Gregory Braswell.

Visitation: 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral: 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 24, 2011 in the Hodgson Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors with Reverend Bob Tice officiating.

Burial: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
